  1. Heat ghee to 140°C; add cumin seeds (40 sec).
  2. Add ginger, green chillies; sauté 20 sec.
  3. Add rice, dal; stir-fry 1 min.
  4. Add turmeric, salt, water; bring to boil.
  5. Reduce heat to low; cover, cook 15 min until rice and dal soft, liquid absorbed.
  6. Fluff with fork.
  7. Color golden-yellow, texture creamy and comforting, aroma ghee-spiced.
