👩🍳 How to make Dal Dhokli
- Boil water; add toor dal, turmeric; cook 10 min until soft.
- Heat oil; temper mustard seeds, cumin (40 sec, 160°C).
- Add curry leaves; pour into dal.
- Add chilli powder, salt; bring to boil.
- Mix flour, turmeric, salt; add oil, water; knead into soft dough (3 min).
- Roll between palms into thin cylinders; cut into 2cm pieces.
- Drop dough pieces into boiling dal one by one.
- Stir gently to prevent sticking; cook 8 min until dumplings float.
- Color amber-gold, dumplings soft and fluffy, dal thick.
