  1. Heat oil to 160°C; add mustard seeds, chana dal (40 sec).
  2. Add curry leaves, green chillies; sauté 20 sec.
  3. Add onions; fry until soft (1.5 min, 170°C).
  4. Add corn; fry 1 min.
  5. Add turmeric, salt, water; bring to boil.
  6. Slowly add semolina, stirring constantly.
  7. Reduce heat; cook 6 min until liquid absorbed, texture fluffy.
  8. Color golden with corn kernels, texture light and fluffy, aroma sweet-savory.
