- Heat ghee to 140°C; add cumin seeds (40 sec).
- Add ginger, onions; fry until soft (1.5 min, 170°C).
- Add bajra, rice, dal; stir-fry 1 min.
- Add turmeric, salt, water; bring to boil.
- Reduce heat to low; cover, cook 15 min until cooked through.
- Fluff with fork.
- Color golden-white, texture creamy and comforting, aroma ghee-spiced.
