👩🍳 How to make Tribal Rice Pilaf with Roasted Vegetables
- Roast vegetables separately: heat 5ml oil, add carrots, beans, onions, cook 8-10 mins on medium heat (80°C), tossing occasionally, until golden.
- Salt and set aside.
- For rice: heat 8ml ghee, add cumin seeds, cinnamon, bay leaves (45 secs).
- Add rice, salt, toast 1 min.
- Add water.
- Bring to boil (100°C), reduce to low (65°C), cover, cook 20 mins.
- Mix roasted vegetables into cooked rice gently.
- Serve hot.
- Visual cue: rice fluffy, vegetables golden.
- Heat level: low.
- Temperature: 65°C.
