- Heat ghee, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, ginger (45 secs).
- Add rice, dal, tapioca, vegetables, turmeric, salt, water.
- Bring to boil (100°C), reduce to low (65°C), cover, cook 25-30 mins, stirring occasionally.
- Tapioca should be translucent.
