👩🍳 How to make Steamed Rice Cake
- Soak rice 2 hours, urad dal 2 hours, grind with salt and ½ cup water to smooth batter (30 min grinding time).
- Let batter rest 4-6 hours (room temperature 25°C).
- Grease idli molds with oil.
- Pour batter into molds.
- Steam in closed vessel with water for 10 mins (steam 100°C).
- Visual cue: toothpick comes clean, cake springs back.
- Serve warm with green chutney.
