  1. Dry roast sesame seeds 2 mins on medium heat (80°C) until nutty aroma.
  2. Heat oil, add cumin seeds, asafoetida, chilies (30 secs).
  3. Add rice, salt, water, roasted sesame.
  4. Bring to boil (100°C), reduce to low (65°C), cover, cook 18-20 mins.
  5. Visual cue: rice cooked, sesame integrated.
  6. Serve hot.
