👩‍🍳 How to make Jowar Khichdi

  1. Rinse jowar and dal.
  2. Heat ghee in pot, add cumin seeds, then jowar and dal.
  3. Toast for 2 mins (heat medium, oil glistening).
  4. Add water, turmeric, salt.
  5. Bring to boil (100°C), reduce to low heat (70°C), cover, cook 25-30 mins until grains split and creamy.
  6. Stir occasionally.
  7. Visual cue: liquid absorbed, grains tender.
  8. Serve warm with ghee drizzle.
