👩‍🍳 How to make Jaggery and Sesame Brittle

  1. Dry roast sesame seeds on low heat (70°C) for 2-3 mins until slightly darker and fragrant.
  2. Melt jaggery in separate pan on low heat (60°C) for 3-4 mins.
  3. Add roasted sesame to melted jaggery, mix quickly and thoroughly (stirring constantly).
  4. Pour onto oiled tray, flatten slightly, cool 10-15 mins.
  5. Break into pieces when firm.
  6. Visual cue: crispy brittle, golden color.
  7. Store in airtight jar.
  8. Heat level: low.
