👩🍳 How to make Dal Dhokli
- Boil dal with water, turmeric, salt, ginger, green chilies (20 mins on low heat 70°C).
- Heat oil, add cumin seeds (30 secs), add vegetables, cook 2 mins, add to dal.
- For dumplings: mix wheat flour, salt, water to stiff dough (2 mins).
- Roll thin between cloth, cut into 2-inch pieces.
- When dal is ready, bring to boil (100°C), drop dumplings slowly, stir gently to avoid sticking.
- Cook 5-7 mins until dumplings float to top.
- Add chili powder.
- Visual cue: dumplings cooked through, dal creamy.
- Serve hot.
