👩🍳 How to make Bamboo Shoot Rice
- Clean bamboo shoots, cut into 2cm pieces.
- Rinse rice.
- Heat oil in pot, add cumin seeds (30 secs, until fragrant).
- Add bamboo shoots, cook 3 mins (medium heat).
- Add rice, turmeric, salt, water.
- Bring to boil (100°C), cover, reduce to low (65°C), cook 18-20 mins.
- Visual cue: rice cooked through, bamboo tender.
- Serve with green chili.
