👩‍🍳 How to make Bamboo Shoot Rice

  1. Clean bamboo shoots, cut into 2cm pieces.
  2. Rinse rice.
  3. Heat oil in pot, add cumin seeds (30 secs, until fragrant).
  4. Add bamboo shoots, cook 3 mins (medium heat).
  5. Add rice, turmeric, salt, water.
  6. Bring to boil (100°C), cover, reduce to low (65°C), cook 18-20 mins.
  7. Visual cue: rice cooked through, bamboo tender.
  8. Serve with green chili.
