👩‍🍳 How to make Tomato Rice

  1. Rinse rice until water runs clear.
  2. Heat ghee at 160°C. Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
  3. Add sliced onions, cook 3 mins until golden.
  4. Add ginger, green chillies, cook 1 min.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes, cook 4 mins until soft. Add spice powders.
  6. Add rinsed rice, sauté 2 mins. Add water, salt.
  7. Bring to boil, cover, reduce to low heat (120°C).
  8. Cook 12-15 mins. Rice should be tender.
  9. Garnish with coriander. Serve hot.
