👩🍳 How to make Rasgulla
- Crumble paneer finely. Mix with gram flour, baking powder, cardamom.
- Knead gently until mixture comes together (should not be wet).
- Divide into 12 portions. Roll into smooth balls.
- Dissolve sugar in water. Bring to boil.
- Simmer 8 mins until clear liquid (1-thread consistency).
- Add cardamom, rose water. Keep at 80°C.
- Boil water in heavy-bottom pot. Add sugar syrup (1 tbsp).
- Gently drop rasgullas into boiling water.
- They will first sink, then float after 4-5 mins.
- Once floating, cook 4 mins more.
- Remove with slotted spoon directly into sugar syrup.
- Cool to room temperature, then chill.
