👩🍳 How to make Rajma Chawal
- Heat oil at 160°C. Add onions, sauté 4 mins until golden.
- Add ginger, garlic, green chillies, cook 2 mins.
- Add tomatoes, cook 5 mins until soft.
- Add cumin, red chilli, turmeric, cook 1 min.
- Add boiled beans, water, salt. Bring to boil.
- Simmer 20 mins at low heat until gravy is medium-thick.
- Add garam masala. Serve hot.
- Rinse rice. Heat ghee at 160°C, add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
- Add rice, sauté 2 mins. Add water, salt.
- Bring to boil, cover, reduce to low heat (120°C).
- Cook 15 mins. Rice should be tender.
