👩‍🍳 How to make Rajma Chawal

  1. Heat oil at 160°C. Add onions, sauté 4 mins until golden.
  2. Add ginger, garlic, green chillies, cook 2 mins.
  3. Add tomatoes, cook 5 mins until soft.
  4. Add cumin, red chilli, turmeric, cook 1 min.
  5. Add boiled beans, water, salt. Bring to boil.
  6. Simmer 20 mins at low heat until gravy is medium-thick.
  7. Add garam masala. Serve hot.
  8. Rinse rice. Heat ghee at 160°C, add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
  9. Add rice, sauté 2 mins. Add water, salt.
  10. Bring to boil, cover, reduce to low heat (120°C).
  11. Cook 15 mins. Rice should be tender.
