👩🍳 How to make Moong Dal Kachori
- Mix flour, salt, carom seeds. Rub in oil. Add water, knead into firm dough.
- Rest 20 mins. Divide into 12 portions.
- Drain moong dal. Heat oil at 150°C. Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
- Add green chillies, ginger, cook 30 seconds. Add onions, sauté 2 mins.
- Add drained moong dal, spice powders, salt. Sauté 3 mins until dry.
- Cool completely.
- Roll each dough portion into thin circle. Place 1 tbsp filling in center.
- Seal edges, reshape into disc.
- Heat oil to 160°C. Deep fry 8-10 mins on low heat until golden.
- Crispy outside, moong dal filling is cooked.
