👩‍🍳 How to make Moong Dal Kachori

  1. Mix flour, salt, carom seeds. Rub in oil. Add water, knead into firm dough.
  2. Rest 20 mins. Divide into 12 portions.
  3. Drain moong dal. Heat oil at 150°C. Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
  4. Add green chillies, ginger, cook 30 seconds. Add onions, sauté 2 mins.
  5. Add drained moong dal, spice powders, salt. Sauté 3 mins until dry.
  6. Cool completely.
  7. Roll each dough portion into thin circle. Place 1 tbsp filling in center.
  8. Seal edges, reshape into disc.
  9. Heat oil to 160°C. Deep fry 8-10 mins on low heat until golden.
  10. Crispy outside, moong dal filling is cooked.
