👩‍🍳 How to make Masala Oats Idli

  1. Mix rolled oats, rice flour, urad dal flour, salt with water into thick batter.
  2. Heat oil at 150°C. Add mustard seeds (crackle 10 seconds).
  3. Add cumin, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, cook 20 seconds.
  4. Add onions, carrots, sauté 1 min. Cool.
  5. Mix tempering into batter.
  6. Grease idli moulds with oil. Pour batter to 3/4 level.
  7. Steam in idli cooker at boiling water (100°C) for 10-12 mins.
  8. Check with toothpick - should come out clean.
