👩🍳 How to make Light Moong Dal
- Rinse dal. Pressure cook with turmeric, salt, water for 2 whistles. Cook 8 mins, release steam.
- Mash slightly. Heat ghee at 140°C.
- Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds), dried chillies, fry 20 seconds.
- Add asafoetida, ginger, garlic, cook 30 seconds.
- Add curry leaves, cook 10 seconds.
- Pour into dal. Stir well. Garnish with coriander.
