👩🍳 How to make Halwa
- Soak saffron in 2 tbsp warm water for 5 mins.
- Heat ghee at 150°C. Add semolina, roast continuously for 6-8 mins until light brown and fragrant.
- Add dry fruits, fry 1 min. Remove and set aside.
- Heat milk and water together. Pour slowly into roasted semolina, stirring to avoid lumps.
- Keep stirring. Mixture will thicken. Cook 8-10 mins at low heat (120°C).
- Add jaggery, cardamom, fried fruits, saffron with soaking water, rose water, salt.
- Stir well. Cook 3 mins more.
- Ghee should be visible on top.
- Serve warm in bowls.
