👩‍🍳 How to make Doughnuts with Sugar Coating

  1. Mix maida, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Add curd, sugar.
  2. Knead into soft dough with minimal water. Rest 15 mins.
  3. Divide into 8 portions. Roll into balls, punch hole in center with finger.
  4. Heat oil to 170°C. Deep fry doughnuts 2-3 mins per side until golden.
  5. Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towel.
  6. Dissolve sugar in water, bring to boil at 100°C.
  7. Add cardamom, saffron. Simmer 2 mins. Add lemon juice.
  8. Cool to warm temperature (60°C).
  9. Dip warm doughnuts in sugar syrup. Remove and serve.
