👩🍳 How to make Doughnuts with Sugar Coating
- Mix maida, baking powder, baking soda, salt. Add curd, sugar.
- Knead into soft dough with minimal water. Rest 15 mins.
- Divide into 8 portions. Roll into balls, punch hole in center with finger.
- Heat oil to 170°C. Deep fry doughnuts 2-3 mins per side until golden.
- Remove with slotted spoon, drain on paper towel.
- Dissolve sugar in water, bring to boil at 100°C.
- Add cardamom, saffron. Simmer 2 mins. Add lemon juice.
- Cool to warm temperature (60°C).
- Dip warm doughnuts in sugar syrup. Remove and serve.
