- Heat oil at 160°C. Add onions, sauté 4 mins until golden.
- Add ginger, garlic, green chillies, cook 2 mins.
- Add tomatoes, cook 5 mins until soft.
- Add spice powders, cook 1 min.
- Add boiled chickpeas, salt, water. Simmer 15 mins.
- Gravy should be medium-thick.
- Mix maida, baking powder, salt. Add yogurt, oil, water.
- Knead into soft dough. Rest 1 hour.
- Divide into 4 portions. Roll into 6-inch rounds.
- Place on baking tray. Brush with oil, sprinkle nigella seeds.
- Bake at 200°C for 10-12 mins until puffed and light golden.
- Serve warm with chole.
