👩‍🍳 How to make Brown Rice with Vegetables

  1. Rinse brown rice until water runs clear.
  2. Heat ghee at 160°C. Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
  3. Add bay leaves, cinnamon, green chillies, ginger, cook 30 seconds.
  4. Add onions, sauté 3 mins. Add vegetables, sauté 2 mins.
  5. Add rinsed rice, sauté 2 mins. Add salt, water.
  6. Bring to boil, cover, reduce to low heat (120°C).
  7. Cook 18 mins. Brown rice takes longer than white rice.
  8. Each grain should be separate but slightly chewy.
