👩🍳 How to make Brown Rice with Vegetables
- Rinse brown rice until water runs clear.
- Heat ghee at 160°C. Add cumin seeds (crackle 15 seconds).
- Add bay leaves, cinnamon, green chillies, ginger, cook 30 seconds.
- Add onions, sauté 3 mins. Add vegetables, sauté 2 mins.
- Add rinsed rice, sauté 2 mins. Add salt, water.
- Bring to boil, cover, reduce to low heat (120°C).
- Cook 18 mins. Brown rice takes longer than white rice.
- Each grain should be separate but slightly chewy.
