👩🍳 How to make Sticky Rice
- Steam (30 mins, high steam): Drain bora saul. Line a steamer basket with dampened muslin cloth. Spread drained rice evenly, 2–3cm depth. Steam over vigorously boiling water for 30 minutes, tossing once at 15 minutes. Done when grains are translucent, clump together, and taste fully cooked — no chalky centre.
- Serve (2 mins, no heat): Serve moulded on a banana leaf. Accompany with curd, jaggery, or aloo pitika.
