- Brew spiced tea (8 mins, high heat): Bring water to boil with crushed cardamom. Add tea leaves and boil 2 minutes. Add milk, bring to a second boil (1 minute). Strain into cups. Add grated jaggery — stir until completely dissolved. The tea will take on a richer, molasses-like sweetness from the jaggery that sugar cannot replicate.
