  1. Pressure cook dal + water + turmeric + salt for 1 whistle.
  2. Release.
  3. Add tomato, cook 5 mins.
  4. Heat ghee, temper mustard + cumin + curry leaves.
  5. Add chili powder.
  6. Pour over dal.
  7. Mix well.
