  1. Pressure cook dal + water + turmeric + salt for 2 whistles.
  2. Release.
  3. Mash slightly (should retain texture).
  4. Heat ghee, add cumin + curry leaves + chilies.
  5. Pour over dal.
  6. Mix well.
