👩‍🍳 How to make Medu Vada

  1. Soak urad dal 2 hrs.
  2. Grind coarsely with water (should be thick, not runny).
  3. Add ginger, chilies, cumin, asafetida, salt, pepper.
  4. Shape into donuts by pushing thumb through center.
  5. Deep fry at 180°C until golden (4-5 mins).
  6. Center should be soft, outside crispy.
